Changed traffic conditions Friday 2 and Sunday 4 October

Point to point transport drivers are advised of changed traffic conditions on Friday 2 October at Penrith Panthers Stadium and on Sunday 4 October at Sydney Olympic Park due to the NRL finals. 

Compliance officers will be monitoring illegal driver behaviour on Sunday in and around ANZ Stadium. Point to point drivers are reminded of their obligations under Point to Point Transport law.

On Friday 2 October, traffic is expected to be heavier than usual on roads in the area including Station Street, Mulgoa Road, Jamison Road, Jane Street and the Great Western Highway.

A taxi rank is located at the front of Panthers Penrith Leagues Club, directly opposite Panthers Stadium, on Mulgoa Rd.

Passengers should plan their trip to accommodate the increased traffic for the 7:50pm game kick off.

On Sunday 4 October, point to point transport drivers are advised of changed traffic conditions in and around the Sydney Olympic Park precinct as thousands of fans travel to and from ANZ Stadium on Sunday. 

Road closures will be in place from 11am Sunday 4 October until 6am Monday 5 October 

  • Olympic Boulevard between Dawn Fraser Ave and Grand Parade
  • Showground Road between Grand Parade and Novotel Loading Dock (Showground Road)
  • Murray Rose Ave between Showground Road and Park Street
  • Dawn Fraser Ave between Olympic Boulevard and Park Street

The closest Taxi Rank to ANZ Stadium is on Herb Elliott Avenue near the Pullman Hotel. 

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
