Road closures, lane closures, special event clearways and reduced speed limits will be in place on Sunday 12 October 2025 for Spring Cycle. The cycling event is recreational and untimed, and includes a separate 10km and 50km ride. The event footprint extends from North Sydney to Sydney Olympic Park.

The 50km and 10km rides utilise the same route from North Sydney to Pyrmont. Most of this section of the route is not open to general traffic. From Darling Drive, the 50km ride will join the open road network and participants will cycle with general traffic.
Participants are required to stop at traffic signals, even on closed roads in North Sydney, Sydney CBD, and Pyrmont, as there are intersections where traffic will cross the route under normal traffic signal conditions.
