The Point to Point Transport Commissioner is pleased to announce that Tamworth has a new secure taxi rank on Peel Street opposite the Courthouse Hotel.
The new rank will be monitored over the next three months to confirm it is in the location that best serves the needs of Tamworth’s local community.
The new rank is close to some of Tamworth’s night life hotspots and will be open from 10pm to 4am on Fridays and Saturdays, with security guards on duty.
Along with the more than 50 secure taxi ranks across regional NSW and metro Sydney, this new rank will help ensure everyone ends the night by getting home safely. Details of the pop-up secure taxi rank are:
- 232 Peel Street, Tamworth, opposite the Courthouse Hotel
- 22:00 – 04:00, Friday and Saturday nights
