Joint Operation – Sydney Airport

On 19 and 20 June 2025, Point to Point Transport Commission staff participated in a joint compliance operation at Sydney Airport with Transport for NSW, the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator and NSW Police.

The Inspectors checked 50 point to point vehicles, found 13 breaches and issued three Defect Notices. The other agencies conducted their own operations, including inspecting buses and heavy vehicles, and conducting alcohol and drug tests.

This successful joint operation is a great example of working together with other Government agencies to enforce and improve compliance and passenger safety.

NRL: Sydney Roosters vs. North Queensland Cowboys - Moore Park

The Sydney Roosters hosted the North Queensland Cowboys for their footy game at Allianz Stadium on 22 June 2025, with the home team seizing a sounding victory.

Point to Point Transport Commission vehicles were strategically positioned at the precinct with signs advising passengers that drivers must use the meter, which was enforced by the inspectors on-site, as well as accepting hirings when offered.
