Changed traffic conditions: Bledisloe Cup Saturday 31 October

Published

Point to point transport drivers are advised of changed traffic conditions on Saturday 31 October in Sydney Olympic Park as thousands of fans travel to and from ANZ Stadium to see the Wallabies take on the All Blacks in game 3 of the Bledisloe Cup kicking off at 7.45pm.

Point to point transport drivers and their passengers are urged to plan their trips to and from ANZ Stadium this Saturday.

Road closures will be in place within the precinct from 11am. Check the Sydney Olympic Park interactive map for full closure details and times. Road closures may affect your access to the stadium for pick-ups after the game.

The closest Taxi Rank to ANZ Stadium is on Herb Elliott Avenue near the Pullman Hotel. Drivers are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.

Point to point transport drivers should not be picking customers up from no stopping areas, and to encourage passengers to meet booked services away from the Stadium to assist with traffic flow and pedestrian safety. Safe pick up and drop off areas are located on Dawn Fraser Avenue.

Police will be stationed at entry points to the exclusion zone and sanctions may be administered on the spot for failure to comply. Point to Point Transport compliance officers will also be present and undertaking vehicle and driver ID inspections.
