Given the number of infectious cases in the community, the Premier announced on the basis of updated health advice a number of changes will be made to further limit the spread of the COVID-19 Delta strain. These changes will have an impact on a number of point to point transport service providers and drivers.

From 11:59pm, Saturday 17 July until Friday 30 July:

Residents of Fairfield, Canterbury-Bankstown and Liverpool LGAs (see the full list of affected suburbs here) cannot leave their local areas for work. The only people exempt are authorised workers identified by NSW Government - taxi, rideshare and hire car drives are not authorised workers.

This means that taxi, rideshare, hire car and other point to point transport drivers as well as staff that work at service providers cannot leave these LGAs to work.

All other restrictions currently in place across Greater Sydney including the Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Wollongong and Shellharbour will remain in place.

Restrictions in regional NSW remain unchanged.

We will continue to update you of any other changes and understand this is a difficult time for the industry and community.
