The compliance team attending the City2Surf on 11th August, inspected 71 rideshare vehicles and 33 taxis. Participation was up from last year, more than 90,000 participants and large crowds gathered at the start and finish locations.
1 rideshare driver was identified providing services without a Retroreflective Sign, and 1 taxi was identified not having a taxi holder in the vehicle for the display of the driver’s ID.
Service providers are asked to address the above issues with their drivers and ensure the behaviour stops.
